In 1984 Tom & Rita Woolston were traveling the county with their daughter Tammy, seeking to earn her fame through horse shows. They would find State-Level success and a business opportunity this year. Tom and Rita were notified a trophy shop was for sale at a reasonable price. They purchased the business & began taking ribbon orders.

With their connections in the equestrian event community, business grew fast.

Soon, people were employed, casting ribbon dies, stamping streamers, and crafting rosettes all in an ordinary basement. In the mid 90's Action Awards outgrew the basement. A pole-barn-style building was created for Action Awards.

       When Tammy become a leader, our opportunities and connections grew.

Under her leadership our focus shifted towards quality over quantity.

Tammy's past success and experience in horse shows makes her qualified at understanding an equestrian competition's needs. Tammy began marketing Action Awards at trade shows and created our very first website in 2014. She expanded our ribbon offerings and redesigned rosettes. Her efforts paid off as we would become noticed as a premium award ribbon manufacturer at a national level. 

        Since 2014 we've expanded our building and continue evolving our awards. We've designed a new website with new offerings and have gained new customers.​

We stand as a team of over 25 people, growing the Action Awards reputation.
